Frankfurt Airport cancels 130 flights amid strike by security staff

Authorities at Germany's Frankfurt Airport cancelled 130 out of 818 flights on Tuesday as airport's cargo and passenger control employees went on strike. This comes amid wage dispute between Verdi trade union and Federal Association of Aviation Security Companies (BDLS). While trade union raised host of demands including an hourly raise of at least €1, BDLS has refused to comply.
