Fraud-hit IDFC First Bank to recover ₹35 cr under 'employee dishonesty insurance policy'

IDFC First Bank, which reported a ₹590-crore fraud linked to Haryana government-related accounts at its Chandigarh branch, will recover ₹35 crore due to insurance. The management told investors that it has an 'employee dishonesty insurance policy'. The financial impact would be mitigated but it depends on the admission and payout of the claim, NDTV Profit reported.
