Fraudster living rent-free in New York hotel ruled unfit for trial
Mickey Barreto, accused of forging ownership of New York's New Yorker Hotel to live there rent-free, has been declared mentally unfit for trial, prosecutors confirmed. Barreto, facing 24 charges, allegedly tried to collect rent from tenants as well. Judge Cori Weston has ordered Barreto to secure inpatient psychiatric care by November 13.
