Free bus passes announced for all students across Karnataka

Karnataka Chief Minister DK Shivakumar announced free bus passes for school and college students across the state in one of the first major decisions after assuming office on Wednesday. CM Shivakumar said the initiative would benefit thousands of students, who travel to other towns for education. Students would have to apply for the pass once it is rolled out.
