Free Russian woman accused in US of spying: Russia tells US

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on Saturday told his US counterpart Mike Pompeo that a woman arrested in the US on accusations she was a Russian agent had been detained on "fabricated charges" and should be released. Maria Butina was charged with conspiracy to act as a Russian government agent while developing ties with American citizens and infiltrating political groups.
