Freediver dances 15m underwater in saree to tell ancient Sanskrit stories

Gayatri Rathinavelu, a freediver and underwater dancer, performs up to 15 metres underwater on a single breath while wearing a saree to tell ancient Sanskrit stories. She said she chose the saree as she rarely saw her heritage represented underwater. She calls the project "Kali Rising" and never dives without a safety diver.
