Delhi-based retail solutions provider Freedom Smart Labs has raised around ₹1 crore in seed funding from Kapil Goel, the managing director of retail chain DCS Group. Founded by entrepreneur Yogesh Huja, the company aims at providing IoT solutions in retail through its WiFi-based product Freedom.desi. The solution is currently deployed at 21 malls in and around Delhi-NCR.
