Freedom to choose: Rahman after daughter is criticised over niqab

Singer-composer AR Rahman, in a veiled reference to comments criticising his daughter Khatija for wearing a niqab, shared a picture showing his other daughter Raheema and wife Sairaa without the veil but Khatija covering her face at a party. "The precious ladies of my family... #freedomtochoose," he wrote. Khatija had recently made an appearance with Rahman at an event.
