Freight logistics firm FR8 raises ₹6.5 cr from Omnivore

Chennai-based B2B freight logistics startup FR8 has raised ₹6.5 crore (about $971,000) from agritech-focussed venture capital firm Omnivore Partners. The funding will help the company expand into other Indian cities. Founded in 2016, FR8 offers long-haul trucking solutions to large corporates, SMEs and the agri-business ecosystem, with a clientele including Philips, Asian Paints and Britannia.
