French AI startup Mistral announces deals with BMW, Airbus

BMW and aerospace group Airbus have partnered with French AI startup Mistral to develop systems such as flight safety and car crash simulations. The firm signed a five-year partnership with Airbus to apply AI to defence and space activities and helicopter manufacturing. The firm will build multimodal reasoning models for complex development use cases, such as crash simulation for BMW.
