French billionaire seeks law change to disinherit 5 kids, wants to donate ₹15,300-cr wealth

French billionaire Pierre-Edouard Sterin has urged lawmakers to change inheritance laws so that he can disinherit his five children. Sterin, founder of gift-box company Smartbox, wants to donate most of his nearly $1.6-billion (₹15,300 crore) wealth to charitable causes. Under current French law, he'd be required to leave around 75% of his wealth to his descendants, regardless of personal wishes.
