French Open 2019 women's singles finalist Markéta Vondroušová crashed out of the Wimbledon in the first round on Monday after losing to Madison Brengle. The 20-year-old Vondroušová lost the match to Brengle with a scoreline of 4-6, 4-6. Meanwhile, men's singles defending champion Novak Djokovic advanced to the second round after defeating Philipp Kohlschreiber 6-3, 7-5, 6-3.
