French tourist slips while climbing hill in Hampi, rescued

A 52-year-old French tourist slipped while climbing a hill behind the Queen's bathing tank in Hampi, Karnataka, on December 24. Trapped for nearly two days, he crawled to a nearby banana plantation before local farmers alerted authorities. Rescued by police and ASI officials, the tourist was admitted to Koppal Government Hospital and is reported to be stable.
