Frenchman sentenced to death for smuggling 3 kg drugs into Indonesia

Félix Dorfin, a 35-year-old man from France, has been sentenced to death by an Indonesian court for smuggling 3 kg drugs into the holiday island of Lombok. He was arrested carrying a suitcase filled with ecstasy and amphetamines, after flying into Lombok airport from Singapore. Prosecutors had requested 20 years in jail and $700,000 fine or an extra year's imprisonment.
