Fresh plea to sue Libya for supplying explosives to Irish group

A fresh attempt is being made in a Northern Ireland court to sue Libya for supplying the paramilitary group Provisional Irish Republican Army (IRA) with plastic explosives between the 1970s and 1990s. Reportedly, US victims of terrorism were compensated by Libya but UK victims were left out of the deal. IRA later joined the peace process and disarmed in 2005.
