One of the largest SaaS-based startups from India, Freshdesk on Tuesday announced the acquisition of Bengaluru-based social chat platform Chatimity, for an undisclosed amount in a cash and equity deal. This marks Freshdesk’s sixth acquisition in 14 months. Founded in 2011, Chatimity's seven-member team has moved to Chennai and joined Freshdesk.
