Fridge explodes at Tamil Nadu home, 3 siblings suffocate to death

Three siblings died and two other persons were hospitalised due to asphyxiation after a refrigerator exploded at their residence in Tamil Nadu on Friday. Neighbours reportedly broke open the apartment's door. "We suspect there must have been a blast in the air compressor of the refrigerator caused either due to a short circuit or wire malfunctioning," a police officer said.
