From Himalayan foothills to Stanford’s corridors of Science
Far from the Himalayan foothills where he was raised, a young researcher from Sirmaur district is making his mark at one of the world's leading universities while pursuing a mission firmly focused on conserving his native mountains. Rishudh Thakur, a native of Khodri Majri village near Paonta Sahib, is pursuing a PhD in Geophysics at Stanford University in the US.
