From investment banking to building a gig economy business
Saurav Chawla left his investment banking job after four years at Barclays in New York to return to India and pursue entrepreneurship. While running a bakery, he identified a need for on-demand gig workers, which led to OkayGo. He said the experience taught him to combine intuition with data, adapt quickly, and keep experimenting when building in an emerging market.
