Fruit, vegetable intake in pregnancy linked to child weight: Study
A prospective study of 252 mother-child pairs found that higher fruit and vegetable intake during pregnancy was associated with differences in the child's weight later in life. The researchers also found that 24.6% of children in the study were overweight or obese. The findings suggest a link between maternal diet during pregnancy and children's weight later in life.
