FSSAI mandates ‘V’ logo on vegan foods from July 2027

The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India has mandated that all vegan food products must display a standardised green 'V' logo from 1 July 2027. The step aims to ensure consumers can easily identify vegan items, prevent misleading claims, and promote trust. Manufacturers have time to update packaging and comply with the new regulations.
