FSSAI orders removal of rusted, chipped knives from kitchens

India's food safety regulator, FSSAI, has directed all food businesses to immediately remove rusted, chipped, and damaged knives and cutting tools from kitchens and food processing units. The new hygiene order aims to prevent physical and microbial contamination, strengthen food safety standards, and ensure safer food handling practices across the country.
