FSSAI probes biscuit makers over cattle feed ingredient use

Priyagold & two other food manufacturing firms are facing regulatory scrutiny following legal action initiated by FSSAI. The investigation centres on allegations that cattle feed bran was used in biscuit production. While wheat bran is used in both animal feed & human food, depending on its quality, use of non-compliant ingredients raises concerns about manufacturing practices and consumer safety.
