FSSAI to propose nationwide analogue paneer ban at Sept 24 meeting with states

Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) CEO Rajit Punhani said the body will propose a nationwide ban on analogue paneer at a meeting with all states on September 24. He added that eight states including Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Karnataka have banned analogue paneer so far. Analogue paneer is made with vegetable oil and non-dairy ingredients.
