FTA partners account for 40.5% of India's exports in FY26
India's free trade agreement (FTA) partners accounted for 40.5% of the country's merchandise exports in 2025-26, with shipments to these markets reaching $179.1 billion. Total merchandise exports rose to $441.78 billion from $437.70 billion a year earlier. The government said FTAs have improved market access, reduced trade barriers and created more opportunities for exporters.
