FTX saw $6 bn outflow in 72 hrs, withdrawals 'effectively' paused now: CEO

FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried has told staff that withdrawals at the crypto exchange's main unit, FTX.com, have been "effectively paused" after it faced $6 billion of net withdrawals in 72 hours before Tuesday, Reuters reported. The CEO reportedly added that the issued would be resolved in "the near future". This comes as rival Binance on Tuesday said it's buying FTX.com.
