Fugitive Mehul Choksi to be extradited to India as Belgian top court rejects appeal

Belgium's top court has dismissed the appeal of fugitive jeweller Mehul Choksi, accused in ₹13,000-crore PNB scam case, challenging his extradition to India. The court rejected arguments set forth by Choksi, including violations of fair trial rights, claims of abduction and apprehensions relating to prison conditions in India. His nephew and fugitive Nirav Modi is also accused in the case.
