A full Moon day once forced rest day in a Test in Sri Lanka. A government decree had banned playing of sports on Poya Day holidays (full moon days) in Sri Lanka in 2001 after which rest day was scheduled for SL-Zimbabwe Test in Colombo. Notably, SL-New Zealand Test in September will have rest day due to presidential elections.
