Fundamentals of Indian economy on stronger footing than before: RBI Governor

RBI Governor Sanjay Malhotra, while giving the monetary policy statement, said that the Indian economy remained on a stronger footing as compared to previous crisis periods. He added that the strong fundamentals of the economy continue to provide greater resilience to withstand external shocks. The economy remained strong and resilient despite the West Asia war and supply disruptions, he said.
