Fungicide shortage hits Himachal apple growers after hailstorm

Apple growers in Himachal Pradesh claim that fungicides are currently unavailable at most Horticulture Department outlets. The department provides fungicides and other pesticides recommended in its spray schedule to growers at subsidised rates. Farmers have already suffered significant losses due to heavy hailstorms in several areas.
