While announcing xAI-Tesla project Macrohard, billionaire Elon Musk said the name is a "funny reference to Microsoft" while noting that the program could "emulate the function of entire companies". When he first announced Macrohard last year, Musk claimed it should be possible to simulate software firms like Microsoft, considering they don't manufacture any physical hardware themselves.
