G7 ministers agree on adopting risk-based AI regulation

Group of Seven (G7) advanced nations should adopt "risk-based" regulation on artificial intelligence, their digital ministers agreed. This comes amid European lawmakers wanting to introduce an AI Act to enforce rules on emerging tools like ChatGPT.
