G7 nations pledge $29.5bn for Ukraine, vow to support it 'for as long as it takes'
The Group of Seven (G7) wealthy nations on Monday pledged $29.5 billion in support of war-ravaged Ukraine while announcing their intentions to impose more sanctions on Russia. In a joint statement, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the UK and the US, said they were ready to support Ukraine "for as long as it takes".
