Gadkari to travel by bus on Maha tour, cut convoy size after PM's fuel conservation appeal

Following PM Narendra Modi’s appeal for fuel conservation amid Middle East crisis, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari decided to travel by bus instead of using a VIP convoy during his upcoming Maharashtra tour. Gadkari said officials, journalists and security personnel would travel with him in the bus. He also directed authorities to reduce number of vehicles in his convoy by 50%.
