GAIL buys an Omani LNG cargo amid supply crisis: Report

Natural gas distribution company GAIL has bought an Omani ​liquefied natural gas (LNG) cargo from a European trader ⁠through negotiations at a fixed price of $17-$20 ​per million British thermal units, Reuters reported. The purchase comes amid a global energy supply crisis driven by war in Middle East. The cargo is scheduled ​to arrive in India next week.
