GAIL plans buying up to 26% stake in LNG project in US

GAIL (India) Limited released an expression of interest (EOI) on Thursday for acquiring up to 26% stake in an existing liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant or a proposed facility in the US. According to the EOI, the firm is also interested in sourcing 1 million tonnes a year of LNG from the plant for 15 years from 2026.
