Gambia ex-President Jammeh's spy chief arrested over abuse
Gambian police have arrested former head of the country's National Intelligence Agency, Yankuba Badjie, over human rights abuses during his time in office. The arrest is a part of President Adama Barrow's attempts to re-establish democracy in the nation, officials said. Badjie is the first of former President Yahya Jammeh's security officials to be arrested by the new government.
