Gandhinagar plants 3.61 lakh saplings in 1 hour, sets world record

Gandhinagar has set a Guinness World Record by planting 3.61 lakh saplings in one hour at Bhadaj in Gujarat. The previous record was held by Assam, which planted 3,31,929 trees in one hour in 2023. Union Minister Amit Shah applauded the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation and wrote, "A monumental milestone towards realising PM Modi Ji's vision of 'Progress with Nature.'"
