Ashish Lata Ramgobin, Mahatma Gandhi’s great-granddaughter, has been reportedly accused of indulging in theft, fraud and forgery. The 45-year-old allegedly conned two businessmen of over $830,000 in South Africa. She pretended to have arranged the shipping of three containers of linen from India for a private hospital group and showed them forged invoices and documents for the same.
