Ganesh utsav samithi members arrested amid idol immersion row in Hyd

Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsav Samithi members on Tuesday tried taking out a bike rally in Hyderabad to oppose the restrictions imposed on the immersion of Plaster of Paris-made idols of Lord Ganesha in Hussain Sagar lake. Since there was no permission for the rally, police took all the protesters, including the committee's General Secretary Bhagavanth Rao, into preventive custody.
