Gangotri temple plans mandatory cow urine–mixed panchgavya consumption for devotees

Gangotri Temple Committee has proposed making the consumption of Panchagavya (a mixture of cow urine, dung, milk, curd, and ghee) mandatory for pilgrims entering the temple to confirm their adherence to Sanatan Dharma. It's considered the ultimate form of purification in Hindu tradition, a committee official said. A committee will check if any constitutional right of people is being violated.
