Gangster Abu Salem gets 3-year prison term in fake passport case

Former underworld don Abu Salem on Tuesday received a three-year prison sentence in a fake passport case. An Uttar Pradesh court also imposed a fine of ₹10,000 on Salem, who along with his associates had forged documents to obtain a passport in 1993. His associate was also sentenced. Notably, Salem is serving life imprisonment in the 1993 Mumbai blasts case.
