Gangster Chhota Shakeel's brother-in-law Arif dies in Mumbai

Fugitive gangster Chhota Shakeel’s brother-in-law, Arif Abubakar Shaikh, died in JJ Hospital on Friday in Mumbai after complaining of breathing problems and chest pain. The 63-year-old was lodged in Mumbai's Arthur Road Jail. Shaikh was arrested by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in May 2023 in connection with a terror funding case against fugitive gangster Dawood Ibrahim Kaskar.
