Sourav Ganguly suggested Tilak Varma could bat at No.6 if Hardik Pandya misses the 2027 ODI World Cup due to injury. Ganguly called Hardik India's most important player for the tournament, alongside Bumrah and Siraj. Hardik hasn't played ODIs since the 2025 Champions Trophy and is currently sidelined with a shin injury.
