Garuda Aerospace becomes 1st firm to receive agri-drone subsidy

MS Dhoni-backed Garuda Aerospace has become the first company to receive the government's agri-drone subsidy. The Chennai-based startup has received the subsidy for its Garuda Kisan drones that help farmers with managing crops and spraying pesticides. Under the scheme, Garuda drones were given to eight farmers at an event held in Pune on Tuesday.
