Gas pipeline blown up in Pakistan

A natural gas pipeline was blown up by unknown people in ​southern Pakistan on Monday. An ​18-inch-diameter pipeline ​was attacked ⁠on the outskirts of Quetta, the capital of Balochistan ​province, which borders Afghanistan and Iran, a spokesman for Sui Southern Gas Company said. Officials said the teams managed to close the main valve and contain the fire, preventing further damage.
