Gas supply cuts force ceramic units to halt production in Gujarat

Ceramic manufacturers in Gujarat's Morbi have begun shutting factories after gas supplies were cut sharply due to the ongoing war in West Asia, according to Morbi Ceramic Association President Manoj Aervadiya. Gujarat Gas reduced supply by about 50%, while propane and LNG deliveries have largely stopped, he said. All vessels are being stopped at an Iran-controlled area, he added.
