Gastroenterologist explains why should people not use a phone in toilet

Florida-based gastroenterologist Dr Joseph Salhab said using phone while sitting on toilet for extended periods can seriously harm one's health. He said sitting on toilet for too long with your lower body in a stretched position can increase pressure in blood vessels around rectal area. It raises risk of haemorrhoids, anal tears and bleeding due to stress on blood vessels.
