Dam on Chenab opened amid heavy rains days after India closed it to cut flow to Pak

Multiple gates of the Baglihar dam on the Chenab river in Jammu and Kashmir have been opened following heavy rainfall in the area. This comes days after India closed the gates of the dam following the suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty with Pakistan. Visuals showing water flowing in the river, which appeared dried up days ago, have surfaced online.
