Gautam Buddha Nagar Police extends Section 144 till Jan 2 amid COVID-19

The Gautam Buddha Nagar Police has extended curbs under Section 144 of CrPC till January 2, 2021 amid COVID-19 pandemic. The step has been taken to reduce the number of cases during Christmas and New Year celebrations. All social, religious, political and other activities have been banned, and processions can only be taken out with permission.
